Although it might seem the other way round, Granny and her grandson are pseudonyms and Pere Mejan is a real person. Whatever the case may be, it all began when the blog Las putas recetas de la Yaya (Granny’s fuckin’ recipes) turned out to be a huge success, was made into a book that was even more successful, and was then extended with a whole load of editions, follow-ups and spin-offs.
